TIP: Never install Windows7 or lower after any Linux. I repeat “NEVER”.

well, if you have installed windows after Linux, you may have seen that the bootloader of that Linux has been vanished by the windows. now you cant choose Linux.

For example, if you are using Kali Linux and then you install windows no matter which one, it will remove the grub bootloader that used to come before.

In this tutorial, we will try to solve this problem with a windows tool. well, there are some other methods that you can use but I found this simple and helpful.

Steps:

1.

Download and install easyBCD for windows from HERE

2.

now run the tool and go to Add New Entry => Linux/BSD

3.

select the partition in which you have Linux. it is important that you select the right partition otherwise you won’t be able to boot into Linux. if you don’t see the partition of Linux, it means that it is accidentally removed or formated.

that means you will need to install it again.

4.

now click on the green plus button. just do it one time, otherwise, you will create more than one entries.

now restart your PC.
