Technology is growing really too fast. From Horse-Carts to Sports Cars, Telephones to Smartphones, Keypads to Touch-Screens, phew! There’s a lot to talk about. At the end what we all know is that Technology has contributed a lot in making our lives easier.
Instead of walking on the roads, we use vehicles to travel. We use alarms to wake up in the morning. We have Fast Internet Connection in our smartphones by using which one can know each and everything going around the world.
Also, robots and machines are used in factories to manufacture products. This has snatched the jobs from those laborers who used to work on those factory plants. Trust me this is just beginning, in the next 10 years, Technology is going to make you unemployed.
Impact of Technology on Jobs
There’s also a big-big positive impact of technology on Jobs. That is, it has made our work a lot easier. It has helped the employed peoples to work more easily in their jobs. But on the other hand, it has also started replacing those employed workers. As already told, the big percentage is the factory workers.
Also, there’s a less probability of errors in work by using machines and robots. On the other hand, a human can always make mistakes while working. But a customized machine won’t make errors until it itself have any errors. As of now, technology has affected a lot on the Jobs in agriculture and manufacturing industries.
- Soon professional works will also be in the hands of software developed by engineers. This is going to snatch jobs from highly paid employees. Because companies will prefer buying software to do all their work with AI. Also, they’ll be saving money and error chances will be reduced in software hands.
- Labors will need to adapt to the technological environment. While most of the work will be done by machines but still there are some tasks in the manufacturing sector that needs a human brain to focus on. If labor has a habit of working with machines, chances are more he’ll get employed at that time too.
- Technology has already started taking places of a lot of employed labors in the manufacturing sector. Soon there will be almost no demand for labors in the industry. But still for those humanoid tasks, still a small demand will be for those labors.
Final Words
But-but-but, there will also be an increase in the number of Jobs and employment with the growing technology. Even it is expected that the increase in jobs will be more than the decrease in jobs of the industries. When Congress brought computers in India, there were rumors that it will increase unemployment. But that’s not so true, instead, there’s an increase in employment in tech fields. Also, people are now earning at home just by using their computer and internet connection. At last, all I can say is there’s really a huge impact of technology on our Jobs and on our lives too.
