Finally, in an interview with Reuters, Samsung confirmed Galaxy M series Launch in India. The new Galaxy M series is coming with 3 new handsets by month end. It is an attempt to cover the market and beat other competitors like Xiaomi. The new Galaxy M series will cover a whole budget segment. Read ahead to grab some more info about it.
Samsung confirmed Galaxy M series Launch in India
A whole new Galaxy M series with three new devices are going to be launched in India on January 28. We all know the king of budget smartphones in India. Yes, you guessed it right, ‘Xiaomi’. This is going to be an attempt by Samsung to compete against Xiaomi in budget segment smartphones.
The Samsung Microsite revealed the launch date of the series. You’ll also notice that the upcoming smartphones will have a beautiful water drop notch at the top. We call it WaterDew notch, Samsung highlights it by saying Infinity-U display design. Nothing more is confirmed yet but you can expect a dual camera setup, fast charging support, and USB Type-C port in these upcoming smartphones.
Really, it’s been a long time, Samsung was hiding behind the doors. Finally, they are focusing more on Indian Market. Even they should because India has millions of budget segment smartphone users. So that’s good to focus on Indian Mobile Phones Industry. Also, just a year back, Samsung opened one of the largest mobile phone stores in Bengaluru, India.
Finally, new three Samsung handsets are on the way to Indian Smartphones Market. They’ll be targeting budget smartphones by including features like good battery life, brighter displays, and powerful processors. On the press interview, they also confirmed that both of these smartphones will only be available on Samsung Online Shop and Amazon India.
Samsung’s Attempt to beat Xiaomi Handsets
For beating budget segment against Xiaomi, the three new upcoming Samsung Galaxy M series devices will be priced under Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 20,000. As per the leaks, these smartphones are the new Galaxy M10, M20, and M30. Also, a lot of techies are expecting a powerful Exynos 7885 chipset with 4GB RAM support in the M30 handset.
