Nowadays global positioning satellite (GPS) has a major use in our daily lifestyle. So many countries own their self made GPS system like:-
1. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA OWNS GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM
2. RUSSIA OWNS GLONASS
3. CHINA OWNS BEIDOU
4. GLOBAL UNION OWNS GALILEO
and soon India will be having its name in this list because now India too owns its satellite system.
what is navic system ?
navic stands for Navigation with Indian Constellation. It is the first navigation system launched and formed by Indian space research center (ISRO). It provides real time positioning and timing services. NAVIC will cover India and 1500 km around it . This system consists of 7 satellite because of this it can show a 3 feet abbove the ground image.
There are several advantages of Indian NAVIC system like:-

- Vehicle tracking and fleet management.

- Precise Timing.

Recently ‘Xiaomi’ has team-up with ISRO and qualcomm to launch first phone in India with a NAVIC system. Hence Xiaomi has not declared the name of the phone, but the phone will be launched in 1st half of 2020.
